Prof. Youn-kyung Lim was invited to give a talk at Prof. Ron Wakkary’s Inaugural Symposium at TU Eindhoven (TU/e). She introduced two research cases from the CIxD lab, 1) Non-finito Products which is led by the Ph.D. candidate Jinmin Seok, and 2) UX design for DIY Smart Home which is led by the Ph.D. candidate Jongbum Woo. This talk was given to show how we can design something that is not firmly defined regarding its functionalities and rather opens up for new solution ideas that can be directly created by end-users while using it in their daily living situations.
