Gahyeon presented at HCI Korea 2025 February 11, 2025

Gahyeon (undergraduate researcher) presented a full paper titled “Why I Choose This Sticker When Chatting with You: Exploring Design Considerations for Sticker Recommendation Services in Mobile Instant Messengers” at the Top-Conference Program of HCI Korea 2025.

The Top-Conference Program invites papers from domestic institutions that were presented at leading international HCI conferences in the past year. Gahyeon's paper, published at CSCW 2024, received an Honorable Mention Award (Top 3%). It explores how mobile instant messenger (MIM) users select and use stickers in daily conversations and proposes design implications for enhancing sticker recommendation services in MIMs.

Through this session, Gahyeon reintroduced her work, engaged in discussions with HCI Korea attendees, and shared insights and experiences from CSCW 2024.
