CIxD Lab hosted an invited talk given by Prof. Radhika Garg in our seminar on October 30, 2020. Prof. Radhika Garg is an assistant professor at the School of Information Science at Syracuse University (https://ischool.syr.edu/radhika-garg/). Her talk title was “The Role Conversational Agents (Can) Play in Children’s in-Home Learning Activities,” and we had a good discussion about what are challenges and considerations for designing these intelligent devices for the children-parents relationships and the family contexts.
