CHI Panel: Transdisciplinary Design in Education_April 22, 2015

Prof. Youn-kyung Lim Participated as a Technical Program Committee member for CHI 2015, which is held in Seoul in April 18-23. She attended a session for ‘Transdisciplinary Design in Education’. Eight panel collects together a group of educators from chosen to provide a global perspective, with panelists from Canada, Denmark, Hong Kong, Korea, and Taiwan. They talked about significant issues in this topic which is brought about in these days for over 1 hour.

* Transdisciplinary design—which is the idea of design that transcends disciplinary boundaries—has been proposed as a fourth design paradigm of interaction design education, scholarship, and practice alongside the technical, cognitive, and ethnographic paradigms.
