As the research collaboration outcome with researchers at Simon Fraser University in Canada, Dr. Will Odom, Prof. Ron Wakkary, and Audrey Desjardins, and also with Prof. Bart Hengeveld at TU/e in Netherlands and Richard Banks at Microsoft Research in UK, Prof. Youn-kyung Lim presented the paper with these collaborators, “From Research Prototypes to Research Products” at CHI 2016, San Jose, CA, USA. In this paper, the authors proposed a definition of research products “as an extension and evolution of the research prototype to support generative inquiries” on emerging complex issues of human-technology relationships.
