Prof. Youn-kyung Lim participated as one of the presenters at KAIST’s IdeasLab at 2016 Annual Meeting of the World Economic Forum (a.k.a. Davos Forum). The theme KAIST hosted was on "Biotechnology Solutions for Ageing Populations". The KAIST IdeasLab was organized by Distinguished Professor Sang Yup Lee of the Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering Department, who presented about "Traditional Medicine Reimagined through Modern Systems Biology.” Prof. Lim’s presentation was on “Advanced Mobile Healthcare Systems” in which she introduced KAIST’s Dr M Project technologies and concepts contextualized in the support for elderly’s independence. The other two presenters were Prof. Byung-Kwan Cho of the Biological Sciences Department who presented on “Rejuvenation via the Microbiome," and Prof. Daesoo Kim of the Biological Sciences Department who presented on "A Neural Switch for Being Happy with Less on a Crowded Planet."
